# Wormholes & Spatial Anomalies

Some have become invaluable tools for humanity, while others have spawned myths and legends about the dangers they conceal. Our ancestors, the Pilgrims, discovered many such anomalies that now serve as fast and stable transit corridors between star systems and galactic sectors.&#x20;

A properly calibrated Sensor Array is crucial for detecting and analyzing these anomalies, providing your starship with the situational awareness needed for safe navigation in treacherous space.\

To utilize a stable anomaly, pilot your vessel close to its event horizon. The immense gravitational energy will then propel your ship to a predetermined location, where you can continue your journey.

However, not all such pathways are safe. Your ship's scanners will always analyze and warn you about the class and type of an anomaly before transit. Currently, several distinct types of stable Wormhole Gateways are recognized for navigation:

* **Wormhole Gateway**\
  Anomaly Class: **L1-STABLE**
* **Quasar Gateway**\
  Anomaly Class: **QSO1-STABLE**
* **Pulsar Gateway**\
  Anomaly Class: **QSO2-STABLE**

**⚠️ Warning:**\
Avoid all **UNSTABLE** anomalies (e.g., Class **S1-UNSTABLE**). These unpredictable gateways eject ships into random, often hazardous locations and can lead to catastrophic outcomes. Such volatile anomalies may appear and disappear spontaneously across space-time. For your safety, rely **only** on verified and charted stable Gateways for interstellar travel.
