Ship movement and maneuverability in space are provided by various types of **Engines**. A ship's speed and agility are among its most critical attributes, offering tactical advantages in combat and other operations.

The galaxy is home to a wide array of engines, each with its own performance characteristics and unique capabilities. Additionally, there exist custom and alien engines. While not fully understood, these technologies can sometimes grant spacecraft incredible speed and extraordinary capabilities.
