# Aggressive Xenofauna

During the initial waves of space expansion, humanity could scarcely believe its eyes: life had not only evolved in the cosmos, but thrived. Many **Xenofauna** species were fully adapted to the void, some displaying signs of high intelligence, forming complex colonies, and fiercely defending their territories. They ranged from colossal cosmic beasts to telepathic hive-minds creating vast, organized structures. The deeper humanity pushed into the galaxy, the more diverse forms of Xenofauna they encountered.

Naturally, many of these lifeforms proved highly aggressive, forcing humanity into combat. Fortunately, our arsenal of weaponry has generally proven effective, with most aggressive species retreating when confronted. However, some entities are so formidable that engagement is tantamount to suicide; discretion is the better part of valor.

The **USC strictly prohibits the eradication of any Xenofauna species unless it poses a direct, immediate threat to safety.** This regulation is, unfortunately, often ignored by those seeking profit, as these creatures can be rich sources of exotic minerals and valuable biological materials.

Show respect and caution toward Xenofauna, and you may find it reciprocated. Not every entity in the dark is an enemy, but provoking the wrong one could be your last mistake.
