# Components

Once you have gathered sufficient resources, you can use any station's **Crafting Machine** to forge them into various **Components**. These components are essential for constructing modular ship systems or can be sold at shops for gold.

Creating a component is not a simple matter of combining resources. You must either **know the precise recipe** or **experiment by trial and error** to discover viable combinations. You can learn more about this process in the **Craft** section.

Acquiring a valuable component presents a strategic choice: **keep it** as a crucial ingredient for crafting a powerful ship system, or **sell it** on the market for immediate, substantial profit.
